Principal's Message
Welcome to the ACS Middle School!
As a learning community, we are committed to creating an experience for our middle school students to grow, learn, and play in a nurturing environment with educators who are well-versed in this developmental stage.
A key component of the middle school is our advisory program. This small group of grade-level students meets every school day with their advisor(s). This program is designed to encourage a sense of community among classmates and a close mentoring relationship between the student and at least one adult in the school.
Our core middle school program comprises English language arts, social studies, math, science, physical education, and world language. Elective courses in band, art, drama, music, and design tech are just a few of the exploratory programs your child will experience. Leadership opportunities, after-school activities, and various extracurricular programs are also offered during and after school to enhance your child’s middle school years.

Our program is also deeply committed to your child's social-emotional development. We prioritize social-emotional learning and skill development as they are the foundation for emotional regulation, empathy, and interpersonal skills. By adopting a balanced approach, we equip children to achieve as learners who take care of themselves and others.
