Our ACS athletes traveled abroad to compete in SAISA tournaments across the globe.
The U18 girls volleyball team traveled to the Lincoln School in Kathmandu, Nepal to participate in the tournament. The girls played hard and had some great rallies in the volleyball games showing everyone how tough we can be. We couldn't have been more proud of our girls who ended up placing in 6th place. The girls were also recognized as a team and as individuals for their positive spirit, friendliness, and sportsmanship.
The U18 boys volleyball team traveled to Mumbai where they competed in the tounament at the American School of Bombay. The boys hustled and communicated with positive intention and ended up earning 3rd place overall. It was an eventful weekend and our boys had a wonderful experience.
The swim team went to The American International School in Muscat where the boys and girls 13-14 age group both received 2nd place and the team as a whole placed 4th overall. Our athletes competed with a lot of heart and demonstrated good sportsmanship and two of our talented swimmers, Lauren and Makayle, set new SAISA swim records in 100M Breaststroke (1:22.93) and 400M Freestyle (4:52.03) respectively.
