MS Clubs & Activities - Spring 2018

Our semester two After-School-Activities Programs begins on February 4, 2018 and will end on April 28, 2018. This inclusive program includes a variety of activities based upon student interest. These activities help promote the learning of the “whole child” and enable our kids to build on their teamwork skills.

Important Information:

  • Please see the activities listed below to view activity titles, dates, and descriptions.
  • Please note that MS Sport Clubs run 2x per week for 5 weeks, not the usual 1x per week for 10 weeks.
  • At the end of each MS Sport Club, a competitive U14 team will be chosen from the group to compete in a local AAC tournament. Students must have been a part of the MS Sport Club in order to qualify for potential selection.
  • Registration for each activity begins on Thursday, January 25 at 5:00pm. You will find the registration links below in the table of offerings.
  • Registration will close on Thursday, February 1 at 12:00pm.  The following day, a list of names identifying participants in each respective activity will be sent to students, as well as posted outside the MS office.

Please choose your child’s after school activity with care. We want your child to have a wonderful experience, so please make sure that the chosen activity is one that your child shows some interest in. If a student misses two (2) sessions of any particular activity, they are removed from all Semester 2 activities and placed at the bottom of the list for Semester 1 activities the following year.

Once participation is confirmed, please save the dates and remind your kids of their weekly obligations.

After School Activity Registration Timeline:

  • Registration begins on Thursday, January 25 at 5:00pm.
    • You will find the registration links below in the table of offerings.
  • Registration is ongoing and closes Thursday, February 1 at 12:00pm.
  • Participant list emailed and posted before Sunday, February 4.

Please Note:

  • If your child is unable to attend his/her after school activity, please notify Jeffrey WIlusz at jwilusz@acsamman.edu.jo
  • The after school late bus leave promptly at 4:40pm.  Saturday sessions require parental transportation, NO BUSSES WILL BE PROVIDED ON SATURDAYS.
  • In the case of an emergency, please call the Middle School Office or Mr. Jeffrey WIlusz at 962 6 581 3944 ext. 292.

We are looking forward to seeing our students involved!
