Elementary School

Activities beyond the school day are an integral part in the overall development of a student. Participation in such activities allows a student to experience balance in life and to develop their own sense of self. The American Community School offers a range of activities specifically designed for appropriate aged students throughout the school year. Middle School

MS After School Activities include clubs and intramural style sports. Clubs are based on student interest and encourage students to try new things, build skills, and socialize. Intramural style sports are coed teams where skills in a variety of sports are taught and developed and teamwork is encouraged.

Students of all levels and abilities are encouraged to participate. 8th graders are eligible to tryout for Junior Varsity sports through the High School office. Please note that any students hoping to be JV athletes will be expected to participate in the Middle School sport as well.  Select Saturdays will offer clubs, encouraging Global Citizenship and adventuring outside the school walls.

High School

Each semester a wide range of clubs are offered to our high school students. These clubs are student driven and focus on providing the students an extracurricular opportunity through the arts, technology and fitness. In addition to the club offerings, high school students are eligible to participate in the ACS Athletics program.
